Dotfrm LLC · Agricultural Technology Platform

A Better Digital Home for Agriculture

Dotfrm is building an AI-assisted digital platform that helps farms get online, reach customers, sell products, and establish an independent agricultural digital identity.

The Problem

Getting a Farm Online Shouldn't Be This Complicated

Farms often end up managing a website, several social media accounts, online advertising, product listings, customer communication, e-commerce, and a handful of disconnected technology providers, all at once.

Smaller farms rarely have a dedicated marketing or IT person to hold it all together. Dotfrm is being built to bring these pieces into one simpler agricultural platform, so farms can spend less time managing technology and more time running their operation.

One Platform Built Around the Farm

The Dotfrm ecosystem brings four connected components together, so farms have one place to build their digital presence instead of a dozen disconnected tools.

MVP · Developing Platform

Where Farms and Customers Meet

MeetFarms is Dotfrm's consumer-facing agricultural discovery platform. It is being designed to make it easier for consumers to discover local farms, farm products, agricultural businesses, and farm-generated content. It provides the familiar entry point into the Dotfrm ecosystem, so consumers can discover a participating farm through MeetFarms and then visit that farm's website or .farms digital identity.

How It Works

Four simple steps take a farm from sign-up to a connected digital presence.

1

Join

A farm creates its Dotfrm profile and shares information about its operation.

2

Build

AI-assisted tools help transform that information into a professional digital presence.

3

Publish

Dotfrm's platform and managed technology services publish the farm's website and digital content.

4

Connect

Customers discover participating farms through MeetFarms and connect with their websites, products, and .farms identities.

See What We're Building

Dotfrm is developing and validating its MVP using agricultural demonstration and pilot sites. These are prototypes built to show what a Dotfrm-powered farm presence can look like, not paying customers.

Founder

Brian Piggott

Founder, Dotfrm LLC

Brian brings more than 20 years of information-technology experience together with a lifelong connection to agriculture. Raised on a Michigan family farm, he understands both the technology challenges involved in building digital systems and the practical realities facing agricultural businesses.

Dotfrm was created to explore a simpler way for farms to establish and manage their digital presence while connecting directly with customers.

Built With Farmers, Not Just For Them

Dotfrm is conducting agricultural market research and pilot testing to understand how farms currently use websites, social media, advertising, e-commerce, and other digital tools. This research will help determine which capabilities to prioritize as the platform develops.
